Purpose
The Purpose of the Norinchukin Bank Europe N.V. (the Bank) is “Dedicated to sustaining all life”, which means “Work together with our stakeholders to foster Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries industries and to create a prosperous future for food and lifestyles, and thereby contribute to a sustainable global environment”.
Mission
The Mission of the Bank is “Glocal Front Runner European Bank within the Norinchukin Group”, which means “the Bank will make quantitative and qualitative contribution to stakeholders through its local international (“Glocal”) network in the EU and its passion to achieve our Purpose. The Bank will further develop its existing business lines while incorporating “Glocal” sustainability practices”.

Feature
NBE was established in September 2018 and granted a banking license by the European Central Bank in August 2019.
NBE changed the legal name from Norinchukin Europe N.V. to Norinchukin Bank Europe N.V. in December 2019.
NBE commenced its business operations in September 2020.
